* Please note each piece of work is unique and handmade using natural organic materials. The pendants have small imperfections e.g. there may be tiny nicks in the shell which is part of the natural weathering process, or non-uniform woodgrain, or some making marks. I don't sand and finish to a uniform machine standand. These pendants are not mass produced but made by the raw energy of a woman's heart and hands. My own cycle informs and influences my woodwork and I try to allow for this too as that is often where the real magic happens - sometimes pieces are wild, other times calm - but they are always lovingly made.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

• Custom or personalised orders
• Intimate items, such as earrings, for health and hygiene reasons

Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

• I use a small amount of beeswax to seal the pendants. If Vegan, please let me know as I will use Lindseed oil instead and am moving towards this anyway. If you wish to shine your pendant up again, avoid olive as it's yellowing and attracts dust. 
• This pendant will withstand naked dancing in the rain, absolutely! But I am not certain it would be happy to go swimming too often in the salty sea, nor in the bath, hottubs nor saunas. It has been made to last but is not tested long-term in such conditions. 
• Moon magic. Next full moon try to leave your pendant out in the moonlight, to charge it up, activate it and make it a more powerful tool for you. Streams and flowing watery places are another good re-charging point.  

* Please note I only make a very limited number of these 'Moon and Sea' pendants each year. This is partly due to the difficulty in finding and selecting just the right pieces of paua shell for the sea (not every paua piece has the qualities to make a pendant truly resonate) but I also think it's right to just take 'a little' from the Earth, whilst making sure we are giving plenty more back. I use only UK gem suppliers who have the correct ethical policies in place to protect the planet and human workers. I try to choose and use eco/recycled silver, gold and tree woods where ever possible. I work only with indigenous woods of the British Isles. I will not work with exotic or endangered woods. Some of the wood I use has been gifted by friends and tree surgeons, or found at markets, boot sales or charity shops, all of which takes energy, time and a keen eye. For special commissions that require a very particular wood to be sourced that I do not have in my workshop, I will take every care and make every effort to source wood ethically from sound people that care as much about the planet as I do.
